Vilnius railway station located in Bēgiai Park - Christmas mood. Impressive historical rolling stock is decorated with festive decorations, and on December 14-16, the Railway Museum and the LTG Group invite you to the first ever Christmas in the Railway Park.
When creating the decor in Bēgiai Park, great attention was paid to sustainability - the aim was to use decorations from previous years, re-creating them and adapting them to the new space.
Festive workshops and Christmas dinners in a retro wagon are waiting for visitors from today in an exclusive place -in a restaurant and a Christmas sale is held in the museum's historical rolling stock. On the last day of the event, on Saturday, the only one of its kind in Lithuania will take place - day dances on the "RayDay" train, whose mood will be taken care of by Marius Šmitas.
"This year, we invite Vilnius residents and city guests to a Christmas adventure in Bėgiai Park. We aim for the festive mood to visit both train and history lovers, as well as the communities and neighbors of the surrounding districts", says Povilas Germanavičius, head of the Railway Museum.
On December 14-16, a retro wagon opened its doors for just one weekend -restaurant - here, coffee gourmets Baltic Brew sell Christmas cocoa and snacks. Food vans include dishes from SUSHI SUSHI, Homiez_Coffee and Mother Trucker. Amber amulets and Christmas toy workshops led by ARZA gallery are also held in the track park, and visitors can purchase sustainable jewelry from the Lithuanian brands EdgArt as well as designer jewelry from Cockoo and 11:11 in the restaurant car. The Santa Claus bookstore of the "Aukso žuvys" publishing house was located in the historical wagon, and the analog photography studio "NoColorStudio" was located in the freight wagon.
Holidays events It takes place in the track park on December 14-16, from 12:00 to 20:00. Entrance to the Track Park is free. The most convenient way to get to Bēgiai Park is by walking Vilnius railway station pedestrian overpass.
