The fact that both young and old participate in the campaign shows that we are united by the history of our country and its freedom", says Radvilė Morkūnaitė-Mikulėnienė, the initiator of the campaign.
Those gathered will listen to the songs of singer Raminta Naujanytė-Bjelle, everyone will be greeted by the Chairman of the Restorative Seimas Professor Vytautas Landsbergis, journalist, presenter, conscript-volunteer Ignas Krupavičius, representatives of the National Defense Volunteer Forces (KASP). It is KASP for the second year that funds are donated by all citizens who purchase a ring of the forget-me-not at shopping centers.
The "Neuzmirštuolii pieva" action, which is already becoming a tradition, is taking place for the third year, and is attracting a lot of attention in Vilnius and throughout Lithuania. It is one of the events of the Fight for Freedom Association "Neuzmiršk" dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Freedom, January 13.
