"GO The capital's business center "FLOW", managed by Development, welcomes summer with a cinematic rhythm. Vilnius residents and city guests are invited to free film screenings, where 5 internationally acclaimed films will be shown in the new open-air amphitheater.
The business center "FLOW", located at Lvivo st. 21A, which celebrated its first birthday this year, aims to make the spaces accessible to both businesses and city residents. Last summer, the business center provided the opportunity to visit the impressive roof terrace for free, while this year it invites you to free "Kino Pavasaris" film screenings, which will take place on June 19, July 17 and August 21.
"It's nice that we can offer Vilnius residents various experiences, because it perfectly reflects the fundamental idea of the FLOW business center - creating a balance between work and life. Whether it's visiting the terrace or movie nights, I believe that by opening our spaces to everyone, we can create added value for both business and residents, and by working together, we care about the prosperity of the city in every sense," says Domas Dargis, CEO of EIKA Group.
Five "Kino Pavasaris" films will be screened in an amphitheater with a capacity of over a hundred spectators right next to the "FLOW" business center, so this will not only be a great opportunity to see internationally recognized works, but also an opportunity for citizens to discover a new space in the capital.
Repertoire and symbolic coincidence
The free summer film series will begin on June 19 at 19:00 p.m. with the film of the same name, Flow, by Latvian director Gintas Zilbaluodis. According to a representative of Kino Pavasaris, this Oscar-winning animated film is not only a great coincidence, but also a good choice for a start, as it is suitable for both children and adults.
"This is a truly fun and symbolic coincidence of name, and for visitors it is a great opportunity to discover new, interesting spaces for watching movies. We are delighted with this cooperation and the opportunity to provide another unique experience for film lovers," says Ieva Pačkauskaitė, Head of Partnerships and B2B Sales at Kino Pavasaris.
The second film evening will take place on July 17, and during it, viewers will be able to see two films: at 17:00 p.m., the tragicomedy "Peacock" by director Bernhard Wenger, which has won 5 international film awards, will be shown (English: Peacock), and at 19:00 p.m. – director Peter Kerekes' work "The Stars Prophesy" (English: Wishing on a Star).
On August 21, the FLOW Amphitheater will invite you to the third film evening and this time will offer two more interesting films. At 17:00 p.m., the Frenchman Emmanuel Courcol's work "Fanfares" (English: The Marching Band), and at 19:00 p.m. the evening will culminate with the sensitive work "Bird" by the British artist Andrea Arnold (English: Bird), which tells a story about family and identity.
