A real festival for young people"China under the stars Junior" together with the Swedish Embassy in Lithuania will present a free movie screening to schoolchildren and families. To MO Museum terrace on June 5 At 13.00, the Swedish film "Bullets", which won awards at three children's and youth festivals, awaits the audience.
Swedish cinema dates back more than 120 years, and film histories range from famous fantasy and horror films to contemporary children's films. Scandinavian realism and Nordic noir appeal to a large global audience.

We are pleased to present a high-quality Swedish film about a young man's dreams, friendship and vulnerability. The film portrays how social conditioning and peer pressure can quickly change a once-promising future path and destroy dreams and aspirations. We hope the film will inspire the young audience," says Robin Rinaldo, second secretary of the Swedish Embassy in Vilnius.
In the center of the film "Bullets" is 12-year-old Abdelis. Although he lives in a segregated area of social risk, he is talented and willing to learn. When his friend Bashir starts dealing with a local gang, Abdel is reluctantly drawn into the criminal activity. When Bashir gets into trouble, Abdel tries to help him and accidentally reveals where the gang's hideout is. A rival gang launches a retaliatory raid, one of its members is killed and Abdel is blamed. The director raises the question: how to remain a child in an environment where circumstances do not allow you to be a child?

Open-air cinema festival for young people "Cinema under the stars. Junior" will be held on the terrace of the MO Museum on June 3-7. In addition to the film "Bullets", viewers will find 6 more films in the program: the film "Little Nikolia's Treasure" based on the popular French book series "Little Nikolia", the heartbreaking story about friendship "Alien", the legendary musical "Sounds of Music" that inspires families to sing together, the cult teen romance "The Taming of the Shrew" and Dumbo the elephant's path to recognition in "Dumbo".
Most of the festival screenings will take place during the day, they are mainly intended for students to come to the cinema with the whole class. In the evenings, starting at 18 p.m., the whole family can try the festival experience. "Cinema under the stars. "Junior" film screenings will be supplemented by presentations and education organized by the festival's partners - the "Youngblood" film school and "Jaunimo linija", which provides emotional support.
