26 hour scenesinstallation work, 80 technicians working on it, 5 aukstage and equipment and decorations the size of a house, which required an entire caravan of trucks to transport them. This is what the preparation for Zero Live Show, the first of which, looks like concert will take place tomorrow in Vilnius.
The creators of the project promise that it will be the biggest show in the history of Lithuania, and they justify it with numbers. As many as 11 trucks were needed to transport all the equipment and decorations of this project - not even the "Depeche Mode" concert in our country needed that many. The production of stage details and decorations took even half a year.
"The creative habits of director Emil Vėlyvis do not change the form of the work - this live show will take place at such a pace as if it were a movie. With a huge amount of artists that change very quickly, the sound engineering team faces the challenge of getting the sound up and running on time. The main team of technicians has already gone 10 days without sleep - those two hours on stage will require a tremendous pace, in which not even the smallest possibility of error can be left, so they work with jewel-like precision", said Andrius Saunorius, the project's production producer.
The main stage will surprise you not only with its shape, but also with its size. The Z-shaped stage will be 14 m high and equal to a five-story house. During the show, it will move and rise to the ceiling. The other part of the stage will be in the shape of a tank - this will be related to one of the five themes of the last 30 years of Lithuanian history, which will be reflected throughout the show.
The amount of lighting equipment is not much smaller - the organizers even ran out of it in Lithuania, so they had to bring it from abroad. Technicians installing lighting, scenery and sound requested an extra day to check that the huge amount of equipment was installed correctly.
After the first performance at the Siemens Arena, all the stage equipment and decorations will travel by truck to Klaipėda, then Panevėžys and Kaunas - there is already a fear of whether there will be enough time to dismantle and install everything before each new performance.
Zero Live Show's integrated storyline will reflect the last 30 years of Lithuania. Through the prism of music and black humor, the most memorable, painfully familiar, funny or poignant situations will be presented: the Soviet era, the victory of independence, wild crimes of the 90s, emigration, elections.
October 11 "Zero Live Show" will start in Vilnius "Siemens Arena" on October 19. – Klaipėda In the "Lighthouse Arena", October 26. – in Panevėžys "Cido Arena" and on October 31. Beautiful "Zalgiris Arena". Ticket partner of the event is "Tiketa".
