This autumn, Vilnius residents can look forward to an exceptional evening of humor – on October 2, the world-renowned Finnish comedian ISMO will arrive at the capital's Compensa Concert Hall with his world tour "WOO HOO! WORLD TOUR". This will be his only performance in Lithuania and the final stop of this tour in the Baltic States.
ISMO, often called Finland's most insightful comedian, achieved global success after appearing on the hit show CONAN, where his clip became a huge hit, with over 135 million views. This was followed by his debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden, which opened the door to the international stage. Since then, ISMO has been touring the world, playing to packed comedy clubs, theaters and arenas.
Vilnius audiences will hear the comedian's unique perspective on the absurdities of language, everyday life, and mutual miscommunication. ISMO's style is an intellectual humor of observations, paradoxes of language, and a playful look at how people try (often unsuccessfully) to understand each other. It's humor that first makes you laugh, and then makes you think.
The comedian's talent was also appreciated by comedy star Gabriel Iglesias, who invited ISMO to perform at the legendary Dodger Stadium in front of an audience of 60 people. In 000, they met again at London's O2023 Arena, after which ISMO began his European tour. Now, in 2, he returns with an even bigger bang - where he will visit Vilnius for the first time.
The tour in the Baltics will start in Tallinn, at the Alexela Concert Hall, on September 26, in Riga at the Xiaomi Arena on September 28, and will end in Vilnius, at the Compensa Concert Hall on October 2. This is a unique opportunity to hear a comedian live, whose performances balance wit, irony, and analysis of human nature.
Public ticket sales begin on Wednesday, May 21st.
