On July 2018-18, 22, at the invitation of the Embassy of the United States of America in Lithuania, famous people will visit our country JAV Air Force Europe Wings of Dixie Ensemble. This project is part of the programs organized by the US Embassy on the occasion of the centenary of the restoration of the state of Lithuania and provides an opportunity for the Lithuanian public to get acquainted with the best cultural traditions of the United States of America. The band's concert tour in Lithuania is organized by the production company Arts Libera International.
"Wings of Dixie" is a colorful and expressive ensemble that describes each of its performances with one word "Americana". Their concert program covers a wide range of American music, from old traditional jazz and blues to classic pop/rock hits. The musicians perform very spirited performances of hot jazz and cool blues, from which it is easy to recognize the energy of American music.
Wings of Dixie is the only ensemble of its kind to represent the United States Air Force in Europe, and has been delighting its fans with great musicianship for over a decade. The group's performances always set a happy and positive mood and, without a doubt, sow a piece of the American spirit and warmth in the hearts of the audience.

Charismatic and professional musicians will spread their magical energy in even four cities of Lithuania, and it is nice to mention that all concerts will be free. During the visit to Lithuania, the band's musicians will not only perform, but will also hold master classes and participate in creative workshops with young musicians, and will hold joint concerts-meetings with senior citizens.
