After creating the trilogy of "Zero" films, which became a cult, the director Emilis Vëlyvis started shooting the episodes of "Zero Live Show" this week. The formula of the show, which will take place in the arenas of major Lithuanian cities in October, is a seamless storyline, live performances of performers and actors combined with pre-recorded interludes, and all of this will be combined with the best Lithuanian and world music hits of all time. The director of the show calls it the biggest entertainment bomb of this fall.
According to the creative team, "Zero Live Show" is an explosive mixture of concert, cinema, theater, dance and dark humor. According to the organizers, it will be the most expensive Lithuanian show ever created, where everyone will go crazy, because it will be impossible to sit down.
"Filming these episodes in terms of the complexity and precision of the work does not differ from the making of a film - even the familiar actors of "Zero" dominate here. We're shooting the episodes on green, and that material will be on the post-production table soon. We will install it together with an archival chronicle - that's why I can promise that the viewers of this show will experience a kind of journey in time", says Emilis Vëlyvis.
"And the saying that there will be an autumn entertainment bomb here has no figurative meaning - we will have a tank on stage, a real tank," adds the director.
Actors well known to moviegoers, such as Inga Jankauskaitė, Ramūnas Rudokas, Mindaugas Papinigis, Ainis Storpirštis, Andrius Žiurauskas and others, participate in the filming, which lasts several days and nights. Performer and architect Algirdas Kaušpėdas had a particularly difficult task - to dance with movements specially created for him, Gytis Ivanauskas took his embodied performer Lolita Zero to the gloomy 90s, to a real party of the gang of doctors. Radio players also got their roles.
Although the work takes until the morning, there is always laughter on the set, the actors and crew enjoy the process, and the audience will see this spectacle already in the fall.
October 11 "Zero Live Show" will start in Vilnius "Siemens Arena" on October 19. – Klaipėda In the "Lighthouse Arena", October 26. – in Panevėžys "Cido Arena" and on October 31. Beautiful "Zalgiris Arena". Ticket partner of the event is "Tiketa".
