The support and charity fund "Māmu Unija" together with "Akropolis" invites you to the Mother's Day event a concert "Lovers and lovers", which will feature a huge group of country performers. Concert will be held on Sunday, May 5, from 12:17 to XNUMX:XNUMX. near the Acropolis.
About half a dozen of the most beautiful works will be performed at the festive concert by a group of veterans of the country's scene, including Stano, Ruslanas Kirilkinas, Vilnius Gospel Choir, Soliaris, Deividas Bastys, Gražvydas Sidiniauskas, and the brightest performers of the young generation - Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė, Gabrielius Vagelis, Karolina Lyndo, Elizabeth Olshey and others.
“This is our first such concert dedicated to Mother's Day. I would like to thank all the performers who accepted our invitation to perform at the concert free of charge. This concert is a gift from all of us not only to mothers, but also to all Vilnius residents and guests of the city. In addition, it has a very noble and beautiful goal – during the concert we will raise funds for our unique project – the aid and rehabilitation center “Mamų unijas šeišio namai”, which is intended for families of seriously ill children,” says Agnė Puntuzaitė, project manager of the support and charity foundation “Mamų unija”.

During the concert near the shopping and entertainment center "Acropolis” will be exhibited and the photo exhibition of the Mothers' Union "Loved and loved". Shown in several small spaces in Lithuania and Ireland, the exhibition radiating warmth and telling sensitive stories will return to the capital. In unique photos, the photographers revealed portraits of 14 children with cancer and their mothers. After the concert, the exhibition will be moved to the interior of the shopping center.
"No less important than financial support is psychological support for families facing a serious illness. When a family is in trouble and its members hear a cancer diagnosis, they naturally seek support. Knowing that they are not alone in their fight, that they can receive help, gives them the strength to overcome the difficulties and adversities they have encountered. So I sincerely invite everyone to come on Sunday and have a good time together," A. Puntuzaitė invites.
All money raised during the concert will go towards equipping the therapy room at the "Mothers' Union Family Home". Nearby Santaras clinics children's hospitals "Mothers' Union Family Home" is being built exclusively with private funds - it is a rehabilitation, information and support center for seriously ill children and their relatives, which will create a safe, cozy, healing environment for the entire family of a sick child. It is planned that the project initiated by "Mothers' Union" will open its doors to young patients and their families by the end of this year. Up to 11 families with children suffering from oncological diseases will be able to live comfortably in the modern "Mothers' Union Family Home" at the same time.
