A love song for the orchestra's birthday
For the orchestra's 29th birthday, maestro G. Rinkevičius and the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra led by him prepared a special and very rarely performed piece - the impressive symphony "Turangalila" by the French composer O. Messiaen. 1945-1949 the piece written, called a love song by the composer himself, became one of the most significant works of the XNUMXth century. of music history works.
