On April 30, an extraordinary event will take place at Vilnius' "Halės" market - the party "Linkime pasveļiti" organized by the Rytis Čekauskas and Edvardas Padegimas DJ duo MPŠ will invite you not only to dance, but also to pause for a moment at what is truly important - your body and health. This time, the dance floor will become a zone not only of freedom, but also of care, where not only music will sound, but also invitations to measure your blood pressure, have your eyesight checked, or start a proper evening warm-up with a physiotherapist.
"This is a party with a heartbeat. And we're not just talking about bpm,” smiles Rytis, who suffered an injury during a long trip and returned to Lithuania because of it. According to him, it was this injury and the professionalism of the doctors that inspired the theme of the upcoming party: “The autumn festival was supposed to be a kind of farewell before I left to travel for the whole year, but a person plans, and fate laughs… Not even halfway through the trip, I suffered an injury – my knee ligaments were torn – so I had to return to Lithuania, where, inspired by the warmth and willingness of the doctors to help, I suggested to Edvards to organize another party dedicated to the doctors. I wanted to thank those who fix us when we break – sometimes literally.”
DJ duo MPŠ are known not only for their carefully selected musical gems, but also for their theatrical performances that turn parties into real performances. This one will be no exception - at the beginning of the event, visitors will be treated to a special warm-up program created by a physiotherapist to make dancing not only fun, but also safe. "We'll reveal a secret, we invited a famous physiotherapist to prepare a warm-up program, which we will share before the party - so that not a single dancer suffers an injury," share the event creators.
"Celebrating life responsibly doesn't mean being boring. There's no need to moralize - you need to take care of each other," says Edvardas Padegimas. According to the guys, parties shouldn't be a marathon to the point of exhaustion: "Drink lots of water, enjoy the music, but don't forget about yourself!"
Let's celebrate life in a way that makes us want to dance again the next day. And, of course, let's thank those who help us get up - from the floor or from life's blows.
