On Street Music Day, the organizers of electronic music events "Draugai Draugams" presented their fans with a real surprise - as many as seven Lithuanian DJs performed on the roof of the Business Stadium West business center. Event attracted a large audience.
"Another music event in an unexpected place paid off. Electronic music lovers flocked to dance on the open terrace on the 9th floor. In an open space, electronic music sounds a bit different and surprises listeners. In addition, this place offers amazing views. While listening to music, you can also admire the Gediminas Castle", says one of the organizers of the event, Bartas Michailovičius.
During the event, 7 Lithuanian DJs appeared, who were selected by the event organizers through a competition. The girls' duo Tandemme, as well as the young DJ ISSA, played for the audience. Music fans were entertained by A. Goštautas, Utopius & Marzu, Profesorius, Klim and Auremas & Trés Sticky. After the Street Music Day event on the terrace, electronic music fans were invited to continue the party in the club, where eight more DJ performances awaited.
According to B. Michailović, choosing who will play on the terrace was quite a task. The organizers received more than 70 applications.
"We want to celebrate that we have so much electronic music talent in our country. Each of them has a unique character and individual style," said one of the organizers of the event.
Before the event, the organizers were most worried about the weather, but Saturday was very sunny and there were no challenges.
"Draugai Draugams" is one of the largest organizers of non-club electronic music events. They organized an upbeat electronic music party at the Street Music Day for the first time, but they are already determined to invite their fans next year as well. During more than 3 years of operation, they have organized more than one event in a non-traditional space.
Dances without a roof organized by "Draugai Draugams" took place on May 20. 15 to 22 p.m. on the Business Stadium West terrace. The event was free.
