On Monday, the second day of Easter, Easter will be held in Rumšiškės events, a festive fair, the Lithuanian Museum of Ethnography reported.
According to the organizers, various entertainments are scheduled from noon - painting Easter daisies with wax, shaving. There will be a quiz, production of Easter cards and Easter mail. It is also planned to roll margulets with troughs and sticks, and to carry Easter eggs over a log.
In the church, it will be possible to see the exhibition of works of the Vilnius region by the weaver Agata Granicka. There will also be an education of carved verbs with Vytautas Rauktis, as well as an Easter carpentry workshop with Rasa Rainiene and an exhibition of her carpentry.
A takeaway exhibition of daisies, presentation of the Easter dinner table is planned. Festive gingerbread will be available in the bakery. There will be a photo studio, kite and windmill workshops, coins will be minted, and there will be a family relay race with strollers.
During the celebration, it will be possible to admire living heritage - geese, ducks, chickens, turkeys and rabbits. A horse-drawn carriage ride is planned.
There will be music and dancing at the celebration.
