Already on the nineteenth midsummer, when nature and grasses are flourishing, steaming, dewy, we will all celebrate the oldest festival of the shortest night - the return of the Sun. Decorate yourself with wreaths, pick up a Dome of nine grasses, take a field carrier and come with your families and friends to the linden-scented Verkių Regional Park.
From 19:00 p.m. in the evening, we will make domes, weave wreaths, make herbs, have herbal tea, spin dome circles, honor the fire rites at the Lizdeika altar with songs, accompany the evening sun with songs, dance by the bonfire, lay wreaths in Nerimi, wash in the morning dew and meet the rising sun together.
The artistic ceremonial program will be performed by the well-known folklore ensembles of the city of Vilnius: "Jorė", "Laukis", "Nalšia", "Poringės", "Varanė", ritual folklore group "Kūlgrinda", folk song club "Raskila", Lyda Lithuanian band "Rūta". , the family of ethnomusicologists Gaila and Arvydas Kirdas, traditional musicians, will play. The herbal market will be open, herbalists of the Institute of Botany, herbal fortune tellers Rita Balsevičiūtė, Rita Balkutė, Eglė Valentė and others will participate.
