The burger eating championship returns to the capital. On Saturday, May 4, the streets of Vilnius will be flooded not only by roaring motorcycles announcing the opening of the biker season, but also by the hamburger eating championship. The competition is being organized for the second year at OlyBet sport bar and grill, and its participants will be invited to beat 4 Jonas Valančiūnas hamburgers as quickly as possible.
"Last year, the championship we held for the first time attracted a lot of attention from both participants and passers-by. We hope for the same success this year. A large group of people registering for the championship shows that the expectations are justified. Last year, more than one biker competed for the title of the strongest stomach and the fastest eater, but an 18-year-old young man triumphed by chance among the participants. This shows that everyone can win, and to have a good time and a delicious meal, you don't even need any preparation", smiles Austumas Maliauskas, manager of OlyBet sport bar and grill.
The rules of the burger eating championship are simple - in each of the four stages, participants must eat one burger. After the first stage, the 12th who did it most likely go to the second stage, where they are served another huge burger by Jonas Valančiūnas. In the third stage, the 6 fastest eaters compete, and the 3 strongest participants sit at the final table, where they have to eat the last - the fourth - burger as quickly as possible.
The winner of the championship also receives a prize symbolizing his achievements - an annual hamburger subscription valid for "OlyBet sports bar and grill".

The shortest time recorded at last year's championship, during which a participant managed to eat Jonas Valančiūnas' hamburger, was one minute and 17 seconds. The world's fastest hamburger eaters have also set records of several tens of seconds, so it is very likely that last year's best result of the Lithuanian hamburger eating championship will be improved this year.
