The organizers of the largest Vilnius city festival "Sostinės dienos 2020" invite all visitors to actively create a great mood and present the format of the event program, which includes new spaces for the city celebration. On September 4 and 5 from 23 p.m. until 1 a.m. night on the Neris embankment near White bridge citizens will see a unique 3D projection on the raised river water - a visual social project called "That spatial lightness of being". The new location for the display of the water installation was chosen due to the much more spacious renovated area of the White Bridge and the opportunity to enable the gathered to keep their distance and observe the event safely.
Every year, the 3D projection, which causes the surprise and sincere ovations of the people of Vilnius, will be more impressive than last year, both in terms of visual scenography and the abundance of laser technology. Artistic solutions that create extraordinary sensations were dictated by the new space for the performance of the work, which surrounds the White Bridge. "Being is a multifaceted term. We will try to broadcast a message about how a person feels when he has only one space and how emotions can change in it. The theme of the installation is related to our experiences during the quarantine period, its impact on well-being, creative potential. For the audiovisual solution, we chose a family model - a man, a woman and a child, who we allowed to freely express their emotions, convey communication while preserving everyone's personal space", says Linartas Urniežis, the head of the 3D installation "That spatial lightness of being".
A cross-walled cube was chosen as the spatial symbol of the water projection, limiting the psychological, creative and emotional space. It is like a social project, full of light emotions and good mood. The visuals created with the help of laser technology will be accompanied by an electronic musical composition created by Rolandas Venckys-Innomine, a member of the group "Lilas ir Innomine". L. Urniežis, art director of the "That spatial ease of being" project, Andrius Stasiulis, artist of light and laser technologies, creative group - "Video architects".
The 3D projection on the Neris water "That spatial lightness of being" is a harmonious overall visual composition that connects the White Bridge and its urban spaces loved by the people of Vilnius, the "Good Food Bank" of the capital days and the musical platform of "Reflections".
