On July 27-29, more than half a million guests of the festival will be greeted by transformations of the old town's spaces, unexpected discoveries, and high-quality entertainment for everyone's taste. During the three days of the festival, the festival organizers will offer more than a hundred unique, exclusive maritime events.
Market street will turn into a romantic boulevard
Guests of the Sea Festival will be pleasantly surprised to discover and fall in love with a different Theater Square over the past few years. One of the main arteries of the celebration - Turgaus Street will echo the coziness of Teatro Square and turn into a romantic boulevard.
The exhibition of the Lithuanian Maritime Museum will tell maritime stories on the street. Thanks to the "Megaplantas" company, a loyal partner of the Sea Festival, as many as 6 oases of plants will be created here, inviting you to dream and listen to music. Modernity and light will be given to the new boulevard by the towers created by the company "ITCC" and new art accents - giant shells - that will please you only on the days of the Sea Festival.
As befits a boulevard, the sounds of the piano will play here. On Friday evening, the space will be filled with the melodies of the romantic Debussy, on Saturday the students of the International Piano Academy "Klaipėda Piano Masters" will present works of the golden classics. On the new boulevard, the sound of jazz and theater will not last long.
Tourism Square
On Friday, at 14.00:XNUMX p.m., on the deck of "Meridian", which has become a symbol of Klaipėda, together with the songs of the choir "Cantare", the "Tourism Square" will be solemnly opened. "Lithuanian railways” presented square is intended to promote the community of Lithuania and neighboring cities. The unique and unique ethnic culture of Lithuania and its national heritage will be presented on the waterfront "Tai kas tikra" during the days of the Sea Festival. On the opening day, the national chapel "Sutaras" will play here, and there will be traditional craftsman's workshops. The festival's patron "ŠVYTURYS GO Non-Alcoholic" presents the Sea Festival news - "Piknik space" will be distinguished by the sale of exclusive products, the variety of food trucks, and barbecue food. There will be food and drink tastings and excursions to the Švyturios brewery. A large green space will allow you to settle in comfortably and create your own holiday, a suitable rest. Conversations and communication will be encouraged by DJ music and summer rhythms, which will remind you - "That feeling when you don't want to go home". The novelty of the sea festival will be located in the section of Kūlių Vartų street near Švyturio brewery.
Saturday, from 15 to 17 p.m. an exclusive performance of guests from Japan will be waiting here. The "Daigen-gumi" band playing traditional Japanese drums - wadaiko - will welcome the guests of the Sea Festival. Wadaiko, also known as taiko drums, are traditional Japanese percussion instruments used in ancient times for ritual ceremonies, battles, or theatrical performances. These drums can now be heard at Japanese festivals and drum troupe performances. The music of the country of the rising sun will invite everyone to a free creative workshop on Saturday.

For the second year, the Sea Festival program is complemented by the largest and most important cinema event In Lithuania - "Cinema spring". Guests of the Sea Festival who want a more relaxed rhythm of the holiday, already on July 26, the eve of the Sea Festival, cinema will invite you to Dienovidius square. The square presented by the telecommunications company "Balticum" will allow you to enjoy the best Lithuanian-dubbed films of this year's "Kino Pavasaris" for three evenings.
The cinema evenings of the Sea Festival will be started by a screening of Lithuanian short films, where it will be possible to see the best short film in the country presented at the Venice Film Festival this year - "Bathroom" directed by Lauryns Bareishas, as well as Tito Lauciaus, recognized as the most promising director of "Cinema Spring" and nominated for "Silver Crane". the witty short film "Snake" and the new film "Šviesa" by director Gediminas Šiaulis, a favorite of the festival audience. There will be plenty of entertainment for children at the sea festival. Maritime entertainment will be waiting for you in the Skonių fiestas area - in the parking lot of Piliavietas. Although the Burinuk Sea will fit into the pool, there will be intense sailing: white-sail yachts and boats built by the children themselves will catch the wind. Experienced animators-shipbuilders will help children build and manage ships.
In Dienovidiis Square, while parents spend the evening listening to music or watching movies, their children will have the opportunity to spend time in a special area for children - Nykštukai town. Children will be able to create an environment in it - color the repeated houses, create decorations from cardboard blocks or just have fun communicating with their peers at the gnome tables.
