On Saturday, in commemoration of the Statehood (King Mindaugas' coronation) and National Anthem Day, the Vilnius Municipality invites you to Lukiškių Square. A festive picnic "Kingdom of Freedom" will be held there all day.
Vilnius residents and guests of the city will have a lot of fun entertainment: exercise, training, outdoor games, mind exercises, soap bubbles, jugglers and trampolines for the little ones, a dance program to old music. 15 restaurants on wheels will invite you to have a picnic in the city center.
In the morning, a special festive program "Kingdom of Freedom" will begin: historian Mindaugas Nefas will reveal the most vivid and interesting facts about the history of Lithuania and the times of King Mindaugas. .
21 p.m. together with Lithuanians from all over the world Lukiškiai square the Lithuanian national anthem will be sung. After the singing of the "National Anthem", the celebration will continue with the performance of Marijonas Mikutavičius.
