The Directorate of Pavilniai and Verkiai Regional Parks kindly invites all Vilnius residents and city guests to take part in a hike around the mounds.
During the hike, we will visit three mounds located in Pavilniai Regional Park. The hike will start from Pūčkiori, known as the pearl of Vilnius.
Meeting at Pūčkiori mound, which has been known since the first centuries of our era, hikers will travel through evergreen pine forests and fir trees to Rokantiškii Castle, which remembers the life of one of the oldest castles in Lithuania. From this place surrounded by legends and fiercely guarded by strielčiuks, the participants will travel to one of the mounds built for the defense of the city of Vilnius - the Rokantiškii mound, or otherwise known as the Murlė mound.
The open and free hike is suitable for the whole family.

The planned walking distance is 8 km
Those traveling by public transport can take bus 74 to the "Pūčkoriai" bus stop.
