"Säkmės inkilėlis" is a successful annual event initiated by Vilnius Iron Wolf Rotarct Club event, which for residents of the capital becomes a beautiful tradition and an opportunity to contribute to the preservation of the environment of Vilnius city parks and the promotion of active and talented Lithuanian youth. The baskets decorate Bernardinai Garden, Kalnai Park, Vingis Park.
Most of the collected funds are allocated to a young talented artist, athlete or scientist from a needy family or children's home, the remaining amount is for the care of nestlings for the whole year with the help of Vilnius ornithologists.
We hung the nests purchased in 2016 not only in the capital, but also Beautiful, Šiauliai and Marijampole. A total of 240 birdhouses were hung (160 in Vilnius, 40 in Šiauliai, 20 in Kaunas and 20 in Marijampole). On May 7, from 10 a.m. a celebration of hanging the Good Luck nest was held, when Vilnius was decorated with birdhouses Vingo Park.
