On September 16-22, events dedicated to the celebration of European Mobility Week will be organized in Vilnius. eventsEvery year, this world's largest sustainable mobility campaign aims to draw attention to the importance of movement by choosing alternative means of transportation.
"Healthy City" together with its partners also invites Vilnius residents and city guests to be active and participate in a Nordic walking hike, night rollerblading, and special training sessions.
September 19 - Nordic walking tour "Move, Vilnius!"
Everyone can participate in this hike, regardless of whether you have tried this type of walking or not.
Nordic walking is more than just walking. Walking with the correct Nordic step engages up to 90 percent of the body's muscles. Active physical activity in nature reduces stress, increases well-being, and promotes positive emotions.
Hikers will be welcome on September 19th. Tuskulėnai Rimties Park from 17.30:18 p.m. The hike begins at XNUMX p.m. After the walk, refreshments await event participants.
Those who do not have Nordic walking poles will be able to obtain them at the event site, but before that, it is necessary to note on the registration form that equipment will be required.

September 21-22 Lukiškės Square - exclusive training sessions
On the penultimate weekend of September, the sports and active leisure studio for the whole family "Proaktyvus" in Lukiškės Square will introduce and invite you to participate in training with springy "Kangoo Jumps" shoes, which are becoming increasingly popular throughout Europe, and to try out completely new functional training in Lithuania - "DG SKATING".
On Saturday (September 21) - training will start from 13:22, on Sunday (September 12) free exercises will start an hour earlier - from XNUMX:XNUMX.

September 22nd – CITY HEROES are invited to take to the streets
This day will also be marked as a day without cars, so we invite you to swap cars for roller skates on September 22 and participate in the "Night skating Vilnius" night skating event.
We, the participants of the event, are invited to come dressed in a variety of hero costumes that you like the most. The owner of the best costume will receive a special prize.
