This Saturday, June 7, Vilnius residents and city guests are invited to White bridge, where the OlyBet DUNK IT Open will take place - a dynamic and exciting sports event event under the open sky. Basketball fans can expect an amateur three-point contest, 3×3 exhibition matches, engaging games for the audience, and impressive prizes.
"The event will not only unite representatives of different basketball levels – from amateurs to famous Lithuanians – but will also promote active leisure in the city center. We invite all basketball fans to come and have a fun day," says Vaidas Indriliūnas, head of the Capital Basketball League.
From enthusiasts to professionals - who will become Lithuania's outdoor sniper?
The event will start at 11:00 a.m. – participants of the three-point competition will appear on the court. About 70 amateurs have registered in advance, but the organizers leave the possibility of joining on site. The maximum number of participants is 100 people, so there are still places available.
The competition will take place in several stages - first there will be a selection, then a final of the top 10 participants, where they will face each other, and then a super final against the winner of the famous faces group.
The winner of the amateur competition will receive a cash prize of 500 EUR, basketball stars Sasha Vezenkov T-shirt, Euroleague ball, OlyBet Sporto Bar vouchers and other prizes.
The guest classification will be held separately. The winners of the guest and amateur classifications will compete in the super final, a victory in which will guarantee not only The winner will also receive the "OlyBet DUNK IT Open" Lithuanian Open Air Sniper Trophy.
M-1 team, famous basketball players and other stars
During the event A 3×3 basketball match will take place and familiar voices and faces will appear on stage – radio hosts will take to the court of the station M-1 team and all-star team.
The M-1 team will be represented by: Gedas Saročka, Gustas Ramonas, Ričardas Mikavičius and Mantas Bružas, who will compete against a star team including such celebrities as: Remis Retro, Airidas Jankus, Mindaugas Lukauskis and Omerta.
After the match, the winners will be awarded: basketball stars Nikola Mirotic and Tadas Sedekerskis' t-shirts, OlyBet Sporto Bar gift certificates, and Euroleague balls.
During the event, various additional entertainment will be held for the audience - anyone who wants to will be able to compete and win symbolic gifts and sports paraphernalia.
