The government, which is celebrating its centenary, is holding an open day and a ministerial fair on Saturday.
Visitors will be given a guided tour of the palace. Traffic safety specialists promise to take care of the children who come. They will teach children how to cross the street safely, how to wear reflectors and other things, the government said.
Customs officers will get to know smugglers' hideouts, dog experts will provide advice on dogs.
At the fair, the State Service of Protected Areas will present Lithuanian national and regional parks, sanctuaries and reserves.
The Department of Environmental Protection will acquaint visitors with the most common environmental violations and demonstrate the equipment used by poachers and other violators.
The Ministry of Education and Science will present a scientific laboratory on wheels - MoMoLab. It will be located next to the Government House. Here, children will be able to try the work of a researcher - using the most modern devices to perform various scientific experiments.
At the fair of ministries, it will also be possible to get acquainted with the robots Dash and Dot, and learn how to control them.
During the open day, several discussions will take place - about cyber security, gender equality, a short film by journalist Rimos Bružas about the first Government will be shown.
After the fair, a festive party is planned in the Great Hall of the Government House concert.
On November 1918, 9, the Provisional Government of the modern national state of Lithuania met for the first time in the Chamber of the State Council of Lithuania in Vilnius.
The Cabinet of Ministers then consisted of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Professor Augustinas Voldemars, Minister of Finance Martynas Yčas, Minister of Internal Affairs Vladas Stašinskas, Governor of the Ministry of Education Jonas Yčas, Minister of Economy and State Assets Juozas Tūbelis, Minister of Justice Petras Leonas and the "head of affairs" of the Council of Ministers Kazimieras Vizbar.
The first government did not work for long, in a month and a half it held 22 meetings, resolved political and practical issues of power takeover, establishment of ministries, formation and organization of other government institutes.

11.30:13.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. Traffic safety specialists will be waiting for children in the children's room of the government office and will teach them how to cross the street safely, beware of cars, wear reflectors, and other safety measures in special lessons.
12.00:14.00 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. the mobile scientific laboratory on wheels of the Ministry of Education and Science will be located next to the Government building MoMoLab, in which children will be able to try the work of a researcher - to perform various scientific experiments with the most modern devices.

Klaipėda State Seaport will offer to "travel" around the port with virtual glasses. The Department of Disability Affairs will invite blind people to try how to recognize objects by touch. Many meetings, activities and fun experiences await.
12.15-12.30 p.m. we invite you to the screening of the short film about the first Government by director, documentary (historical) filmmaker, journalist Rimos Bružas in the Great Hall. You will find out how the Government was formed, what pressing issues were resolved by the first Cabinet of Ministers, and in what complicated historical circumstances our state existed at that time.
