Exciting motor sports event for women, the "Women's Rally" records record numbers of registrations. In the first month of registration, 150 crews - more than 500 women - applied. According to the organizers of the Women's Rally, this is the largest number of registered participants in such a short period of time.
"As soon as we announced the start of registration, we already received more than 50 applications on the first evening. The large number of applications shows that Lithuanian women are active, active, adventurous, and the event is really welcome. The fact that interest in the rally among women is growing is also shown by the number of new participants. Of all the crews registered until today, as many as a third will participate for the first time", says Neringa Simson, head of the company "Idejju grupė", which organizes the "Women's Rally".
It is interesting that men were also interested in the "Women's Rally". According to Neringa, the men wrote messages, called on the phone asking how to present their wife, friend, with participation in the event. Therefore, participation in the "Women's Rally" became a great holiday surprise for some.
"A lot of companies register - they send several crews to the event, so we notice increased activity in the team standings as well. By the way, we have one crew from Estonia, and two crews have already registered in the historic car registration. There are usually three, four and even five women in the crew. It is nice that women and girls who have participated in the rally more than once are returning to the rally. It is they who force us to push ourselves every year, to look for new, interesting tasks, never-before-seen sections of the track", says N. Simson.
This year, the participants of the rally will be greeted by a new picturesque competition track with historical Lithuanian heritage objects, manors, and mounds. There will be original sports and car driving events, various playful puzzles and other tasks. According to Neringa, since many crews have already registered, the organizers have prepared in advance to control the flow of participants.
"We invite women with little driving experience to participate more actively. We have specially established a beginner's driver's credit for them. Test yourself, gain driving skills. In our rally, the most important thing is not sports preparation, but a good mood, a stylish appearance and a dose of positive adrenaline for the whole year", stressed N. Simson.
This year's Women's Rally is dedicated to the centenary of the restoration of the Lithuanian state. The women will ride with the slogan "Liberate", new festive nominations and competitions await the participants. Teams are invited to use national themed accessories in their outfits. According to Neringa, "Išsilaisvink" also means - no limits, only style, fashion and spring mood.
