The Bank of Lithuania, taking into account the recommendations of the State Emergency Management Center not to gather at mass events and the fact that the first case of coronavirus infection was detected in Lithuania, is postponing the event for the general public - an open door day in Vilnius - on Saturday, February 29. Event will happen later, if the situation is favorable.
"We apologize to everyone who planned to visit the Palace of the Bank of Lithuania, but we do not want to risk the health of visitors or employees. We hope to announce a new date of the open house in the near future and enable residents to visit the unique premises of the central bank in Vilnius and learn about our activities without worry or fear," says Aistė Almanaitė, director of the Communications Department of the Bank of Lithuania.
The open day event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Bank of Lithuania was supposed to take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 16 p.m. in the Palace of the Bank of Lithuania in Vilnius (6 Gedimino Ave.).
