On Wednesday evening, Vilnius residents and guests of the city welcomed the spring equinox in Šventaragis valley.
Sowing light - this is the name of the traditional spring equinox this year event, in which the sounds of the bagpipes, the mysterious sound of sutartins are intertwined, and in Šventaragis valley the Baltic signs symbolizing the returning sun, the thunder awakening the earth to turn green and blossom shone. Spring flowers also bloomed in six ice sculptures in Šventaragis valley.
