The organizers of electronic music events "Draugai Draugams" have chosen another unconventional place for Street Music Day. On May 20, they invite you to dance on the roof of the Business Stadium West business center.
"We are constantly looking for unexpected places for our events. We are a dance party for electronic music lovers in the Bernardin garden, a hotel, a museum, a theater and an abandoned factory. This year, we invite you to a non-traditional place again - it's not every day you can listen to electronic music talents and dance on the open terrace on the 9th floor," says one of the organizers of the event, Bartas Michailovičius.
At the street music day event, seven performances by Lithuanian stage talents will await the audience. This time, the organizers decided to choose DJs on the basis of a competition, more than 70 applications were received.
According to B. Michailovičius, there are no technical problems in organizing a performance in an unexpected space. The only challenge is the weather, which is impossible to plan.
"Draugai Draugams" has captured the hearts of electronic music fans in just over 3 years of operation. It is one of the largest organizers of non-club electronic music events. This year they will participate in Street Music Day for the first time.
"The Street Music Day initiative is very nice. We ourselves have sentiments for this day and have participated in its events since we were teenagers. We probably haven't missed it once in 10 years. This year, for the first time, we are participating as organizers and not just as participants. We are happy that we will be able to organize a wild dance party on the roof", says B. Michailović.
Dances without a roof organized by "Draugai Draugams" will take place on May 20. 15 to 22 p.m. On the terrace of "Business Stadium West", Rinktinės g. 5, Vilnius. Event free, it is for over 18s. age audiences. The terrace can accommodate slightly more than 100 dance music lovers at the same time.
