Mother's Day in Lithuania is celebrated on the first Sunday of May. On the occasion of this holiday Lithuanian National Museum invites families to creative afternoons and workshops, during which children will create a gift for the most precious person in the world - their mother.
In a cheerful afternoon in the tower of Gediminas Castle, mysterious legends will take us to the times when Duke Gediminas ruled Lithuania. What was the significance of the Duke's dream about the Iron Wolf? During the educational activity, the children will make a gift and will be able to give it to their mother in a special place - the observation deck of the Gediminas Castle tower, from which the whole of Vilnius can be seen panorama.
Mother's Day in the bastė of Vilnius city
Spend Mother's Day in an unusual place - the bastion of the defensive wall of the city of Vilnius. The mythical creature Basilisk once lived here, and now the most curious and creative gather here. Wonderful creations are born under the vaults of the bastion. Mother's Day concert "Lovely and Beloved"
The support and charity fund "Mamų unija" together with Vilnius "Akropolis" invites you to the Mother's Day event a concert "Lovers and lovers", which will feature a huge group of country performers. Concert will take place on Sunday, May 5, from 12:17 to XNUMX:XNUMX near Vilnius Akropolis.
About half a dozen of the most beautiful works will be performed at the festive concert by a group of veterans of the country's scene, including Stano, Ruslanas Kirilkinas, Vilnius Gospel Choir, Soliaris, Deividas Bastys, Gražvydas Sidiniauskas, and the brightest performers of the young generation - Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė, Gabrielius Vagelis, Karolina Lyndo, Elizabeth Olshey and others.
During the concert near the shopping and entertainment center "Acropolis” will be exhibited and the photo exhibition of the Mothers' Union "Loved and loved". Shown in several small spaces in Lithuania and Ireland, the exhibition radiating warmth and telling sensitive stories will return to the capital. In unique photos, the photographers revealed portraits of 14 children with cancer and their mothers. After the concert, the exhibition will be moved to the interior of the Vilnius Acropolis.

The celebratory GALA concert will feature music that touched hearts many years ago and now. Which sounded in classical halls, art galleries and intoxicated young hearts in dance halls. This is music that still does not leave listeners indifferent.
