A spirited autosport that attracts an ever-increasing number of participants every year event The "Women's Rally" stops the registration of participants a little more than a month before the start. According to Neringa Simson, director of the "Idejų grupė" company, which organizes the "Women's Rally", the maximum possible number of crews - 320 - has already registered for the event.
The route of the "Women's Rally" is strictly planned - the participants have to start within a certain period of time, after which they perform various tasks, overcome the planned road distance, and finish. In order to qualitatively control the entire process, we must adhere to certain restrictions. We see that every year more and more women want to participate in the rally, so we will definitely increase the capacity of the event", says N. Simson.
According to her, the exact number of rally participants will be known on the day of the event, but one thing is clear, more of them have already registered than last year, so a new record is expected. Women from Vilnius, Kaunas, Birštonas, Jurbarkas, Utena, Trakai, Panevėžys, Marijampole, Rokiškis, Elektrėnai, Šiauliai, Klaipėda, Anykščiai and other towns will ride in the event. This year there were participants from Estonia and Latvia.
"Participants from abroad made us feel like an international event - we will present the tasks not only in Lithuanian, but also in English. The "Women's Rally" taking place in Lithuania is conducted according to the principles of a standard factory car rally, including additional active, sporty tasks. There are no analogues of such a rally in neighboring countries yet," says Neringa.
The organizers are keeping the event details, route and tasks a secret for now. However, it is known that women will start near the shopping and entertainment center "Acropolis", three high-speed events will await them on the route, one of which will take place near the furniture center "Skraja", as well as two medium-speed events, almost 20 additional tasks. By car, the women will cover about 300 km of a specially prepared route, and on the way to the finish line, they will be greeted by picturesque areas and historical objects of interest.
"The uniqueness of our event is the female audience. "Women's Rally" is all about excitement, style, beauty, fashion and good vibes. As every year, this year too we encourage the participants to stand out with interesting clothes, to dress up in an original and stylish way. Since this year we are riding on the occasion of the centenary of the state of Lithuania, I strongly urge the participants not to forget the national motifs in their clothing", reminds N. Simson.
And for now, the crews are already trying to stand out with their original names: "Turbo crows", "Road gazelles", "Flight of crows", "Mistresses of the flight", "Lithuanians - flowers of beautiful fields, as if gold is the color of hair", "Berets", "Rally Tango" ", "Born to Lithuania", "Smoking tires", "I will pick a red rose", "Partisans".
And - not for nothing, because the girls are waiting for various nominations, including "The most stylish team", "The most exciting team", "The car with the best mood".
"We noticed that women are very responsible in preparing for the competition, newcomers have many questions related to preparation. "During the ABC by Mazda practical seminar, we will discuss many details of the event that are not described in the rules," says Neringa.
Compared to the first Women's Rally, this year's event has tripled the number of crews. One third of women will participate in the event for the first time, more than half of the crews consist of more than two members. The rally will be decorated by crews with logos of various companies, Lithuanian traffic police officers.
The organizers will reveal more information about the tasks closer to the event. Neringa Simson invites the participants of the event to follow the news on the website moteruralis.lt and on the "Women's Rally" account on the social network "Facebook".

The cheerful motor sports event "Women's Rally" has been organized in Lithuania since 2015. It is the most massive event "on wheels" that has no analogues in Lithuania, intended only for women. The "Women's Rally" has received a large number of participants since its birth and has become one of the most anticipated leisure events for active women.
One of the goals of the "Women's Rally" is to increase driving culture and road safety. Rally competitions are held according to road traffic rules, the main thing here is to hurry slowly and just have a good time. A special landscape, many attractions, interesting roads and fun and sporty tasks await the participants of the rally on the route of several hundred kilometers. By participating in competitions, women gain more experience in driving and navigating the roads.
