A new exclusive creative studio has opened in Vilnius, Arklių g. 22. This unique space combines painting, jewelry, and tattoo art, creating a multidisciplinary oasis of creativity. The studio is divided into different spaces where painters, jewelers, and tattoo artists develop their work.
The highlight of the opening event was the exhibition "MONOBLOC" by painter Jūratė Girdvainis. This exhibition invites visitors to take a fresh look at the background of everyday life - at objects that often go unnoticed. At the center of the exhibition is a plastic chair, global and nameless, a symbol of everyday life, taking on the meaning of an archaeological find.
"For me, this exhibition is an attempt to show how important and meaningful simple, everyday objects are. They tell us about our habits, times, and places, which we may not even notice in our hurry. A plastic chair becomes a kind of mirror of our everyday life," said painter Jūratė Girdvainis about the exhibition.
During the event, visitors also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the works of two exceptional jewelry creators.
NEAR ME is a jewelry brand where jewelry is not only aesthetically expressive accessories, but also personal talismans that tell stories. “My creations are a combination of tenderness and freedom. Each piece of jewelry is like a small story that a person can carry with them,” said Viktorija Medelinske.
Ginger Tail is a bold and magical jewelry brand, distinguished by its massive shapes, bright stones and mysterious aesthetics. “My jewelry is for those who want to feel special. These are not just accessories – they are symbols that give courage and self-confidence in various life situations,” said Laura Šiugždinė, founder of Ginger Tail.
Both jewelers, working alongside painter Jūratė Girdvainis in the creative space, create a unique artistic dialogue between painting and jewelry – between plane and form, between color and metal.
The new creative studio in Vilnius is not only a physical space, but also an artistic expression of community meetings. Here, artists not only work, but also share inspiration, organize exhibitions and events.
The exhibition "MONOBLOC" and the jewelry exposition will be available to visit at the studio (Arklių g. 22, Vilnius) until the end of the weekend, daily from 12:18 to XNUMX:XNUMX.
