in 2019 March 28, 13 p.m. The State Knowledge Center presents an interactive exposition - the game "Mission 2019: get to know the peoples of Lithuania!". This year, the theme of multicultural Lithuania was chosen as the axis of the project, organized for the third year, which invites you to get involved in an unconventional acquaintance with different aspects of the country's history and statehood. The beginning of the game will be announced and the part of the exhibition dedicated to it will be opened by the students of Vilnius Vladislaus Sirokomlė Gymnasium, Vilnius Naujininkai School and Grigiškii "Šviesos" Gymnasium representing various national communities.
The game "Mission 2019: get to know the nations in Lithuania!" encourages students to get to know their fellow citizens better and pay attention to the cultural heritage of national communities. "Lithuania is home to representatives of many nations. Poles, Russians, Ukrainians, Jews, Karaites and many others leave a mark on the further development of the state with their daily activities. The new game invites you to follow these footsteps and get to know the people who create Lithuania", said Gailė Ambrazienė, head of the State Knowledge Center, inviting you to an engaging journey of ten tasks. The teams participating in the game will get to know the architectural details of national communities that have grown in Lithuania, the most delicious dishes, the creations of authors, and maybe even adopted customs and traditions. G. Ambrazienė hopes that the chosen form of the game, which invites you to search for information not only in the traditional way, but also while traveling or cooking, will be attractive to students and will encourage them to discover the cultural heritage that is right here, but sometimes overlooked.
In the game "Mission 2019: get to know the nations in Lithuania!" groups of students are invited to participate. The project consists of four stages: getting to know the culture, traditions and cuisine of the national communities and a special summer excursion. Each stage (except for the summer excursion) consists of three tasks, which are published on the website of the State Knowledge Center. We invite you to record and send completed tasks by e-mail. by post [email protected] or publish on social networks Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #misija2019. You can complete the tasks of one game stage until the last day of the corresponding time of year, and the players with the most support on social networks will be awarded special prizes from partners at the end of each stage.
