Be sure to find it while visiting the contemporary art fair "ArtVilnius'21" on the weekend Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre stand, which you can easily recognize from the mirrors reflecting the passers-by of the fair. Saturday, October 16 at 15 p.m. We will invite you to the discussion "Opera as a tool for the export of Lithuania's image" in the conference hall of the fair, and at 17 p.m. in the upcoming open class, a specialist from Hong Kong Genesis Day Lagasca will teach everyone therapeutic breathing exercises.
"Thinking about how to interest the discerning visitors of ArtVilnius'21 in the LNOBT stand, the idea arose to prepare an installation that would allow the experience accumulated in our performances to be presented as an art object. On the outside of the stand, you will see a mirror decoration reflecting the visitors of the fair. Mirrors are both a sign of "opera" luxury and everyday life reflected in them. And everyday life in the theater is all kinds - both easy, and difficult, and comical, sometimes - simply unbearable. We will invite all the curious at the booth to peep through the keyhole: in one "eyeball" you will see a live broadcast of the LNOBT Grand Ballet Hall, and in the other - the main stage of the theater. Thus, through one keyhole you will see the rehearsals of the premiere ballets "Holy Spring" and "The Clear Night", and through the other you will be able to watch the beginning of the performances of "Faust" on Friday and Saturday evenings," says Gediminas Šeduikis, the author of the stand and installation idea.

Its goal is to lay the foundations for 2022. for the upcoming international forum, uniting the competences of active performing arts professionals from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and in the future - also from the Nordic countries. This forum, like the "StageArt: Vilnius'21" conference, is part of the project for 2023. part of the program of events to mark the 700th anniversary of Vilnius.
