Today at the exhibition and congress center "Litexpo24th international exhibition "Furniture. Interior. Design 2018". At the three-day exhibition, 130 participants from 8 countries will present themselves, and visitors will find new spaces and exhibitions, as well as favorite spaces and events. According to the organizers, everyone who is creating or changing their home, who is interested in interior design and who is looking not only for inspiration, but also for concrete practical solutions, is welcome here.

The exclusive world-famous Italian furniture manufacturer "Edra" is also coming to the exhibition, which furniture industry professionals will have the opportunity to get to know directly. The company presents its exposition for the first time in the Baltic countries.
Attention to art in the interior and Lithuanian creators
The main novelty of this year's exhibition is the separate exhibition "Art for Interior" curated by Vilnius Gallery. For the first time this year, visitors are invited to get acquainted with the works of the most famous professional Lithuanian artists in a specially dedicated 700 square meter exhibition space.
As the curator of the exhibition, art historian Dr. Ramutė Rachlevičiūtė, the new space is intended for those interested in art and interior design, and it presents outstanding works of painting, graphics, photography, sculpture and applied art by more than 20 Lithuanian authors.
According to the art researcher, the need for such an event arose because in recent years there has been a trend that more and more Lithuanians are interested in works that can decorate their homes.
Spaces and events for professionals
Professionals, designers, manufacturers, exporters are especially welcome at the exhibition. This year, not only special events are presented to them, but also an educational and informative conference "Day with Retroforma", during which interior designer, founder of Retroforma Lina Kalinauskaitė and her colleagues from abroad will present and introduce the latest collections of design houses from all over the world.
"Last year, according to "Verslias Lietuvos" data, the export value of the Lithuanian furniture and wood industry grew by 10 percent. up to 2,24 billion euros, and the furniture industry in the country is the third in terms of export volume. Therefore, it is natural that professionals in the field receive special attention at the exhibition: a special conference "Furniture-star", during which the biggest challenges of the modern furniture industry are discussed, "Archzona" for specialists, as well as a unique opportunity to communicate with representatives of the legendary company "Edra", - the main events for professionals are named by Dovilė Vertelytė.
"Edra" is a world-famous Italian company well known to professionals, which has created history and is distinguished by the connection between modern technology and artistic traditions, characterized by special ingenuity, specialized craftsmanship, innovative application of technologies and materials. Although all visitors to the exhibition can see the company's exposition in the common space of the exhibition, only architects and designers are invited to participate in events, lectures and meetings with Edra representatives.
Archzona is an exclusive exhibition space for specialists, architects and interior designers, where they can get acquainted with the innovations of the furniture industry. This year, twice as many companies are presenting here than in previous years - a total of 44, which will demonstrate the latest decoration, lighting, furniture, doors, facades, floors, ceilings, plumbing, wall decor products and services. On the last day of the show, Saturday, Archzona will open its space for the first time to all registered settlers and real estate developers.
Also, all three days of the exhibition, wood and furniture industry specialists are invited to the most important specialized event in the Baltic region "Materials. Facilities. Technologies 2018". It contains expositions that demonstrate the technological progress and innovations of the wood industry and furniture production.
The exhibition, which runs until Saturday evening, presents the latest multi-purpose furniture collections, original design furniture, interior trends and solutions, materials, details and equipment for furniture production in all five Litexpo halls. "Furniture. Design. This year, Interjeras 2018" is attended by more than 100 furniture manufacturers, interior specialists, design companies, developers, leaders presenting equipment, components and technologies for the furniture industry from Lithuania and foreign countries.
