The exhibition of the oldest known image of Vilnius - from the 31th century - is coming to an end. a fragment of the second half of the map showing Vilnius for the first time. This week (until March 4) you can still visit the exhibition "NOSTRA VILNA: the earliest image of Vilnius" in the Vilnius Picture Gallery (Dižioji St. 2018) and see this unique iconographic source preserved in the archives of the Republic of Slovenia. This exhibition was organized by the Lithuanian Art Museum together with the Office of the Chief Archivist of Lithuania. This is the second exhibition from 2022-700. of the cycle of international exhibitions "The most important signs of the history of the city of Vilnius", intended to prepare for the XNUMXth anniversary of Vilnius. The exhibition is partially financed by the Lithuanian Council of Culture.
