Emphasizing the slogan of this year's Sustainable Fashion Week "Think Globally, Act Locally", during it, first of all, we want to celebrate all participants in the sustainable fashion chain in Lithuania, hear them, see them and experience their creativity.
"And most importantly, we aim for everyone who comes to the event to leave thinking that more sustainable wardrobe choices are simple and can be made every day," says Aušra Juozapaitytė, national coordinator of the Fashion Revolution movement in Lithuania.
Fashion Revolution Week '25 event partner Vilnius city municipality Sustainable Fashion Week events were also included in the "Vilnius – European Green Capital 2025" program.

The ideas of this organization are very close to us,” says Martynas Butkevičius, co-author of the Lukiškės Prison Conversion.

During the closing day events (April 26), visitors will be able to get to know the creators of sustainable fashion up close and personal and become one themselves. The Lukiškės prison complex will become a residence for a whole day of clothing swaps, pop-up fairs of Lithuanian designers and creators, and creative workshops with the designers themselves.
Fashion Revolution is a global sustainable fashion movement that was founded in the UK in 2013, in the wake of the Rana Plaza disaster in Bangladesh, which saw the collapse of a commercial building and its factory, which produced clothes for well-known fast fashion brands.
This disaster claimed the lives of more than 1 people who worked there. Since then, Fashion Revolution has grown into the world's largest fashion activism movement, bringing together citizens, brands, and policymakers to reduce the industry's environmental and human damage.
Admission to the entire week's events is open and free of charge.
