Taking place in Vilnius on the night of May 9th Lithuanian 2000s Festival will unite different Lithuanian electronic music scenes, their visitors and the most prominent representatives of this culture. Event will take place in a unique space – a former metal and woodworking factory (Pramonės g. 141C), inviting visitors to experience an intense and comprehensive contemporary electronic music experience.
The culmination of the evening – I HATE MODELS performance. He is one of the most prominent names in the contemporary techno scene from France, famous for his exceptional performances in prestigious clubs and festivals around the world - from Berghain to Tomorrowland. His music is a synthesis of melancholy, euphoria and energy that everyone should hear live.
However, this festival is not only about music, but also about culture, fashion, the city's community and creative Lithuanian revival of the name.
"This is more than just a festival - it is a reflection of Lithuanian club culture, where both historical figures of electronic music and contemporary trends meet," says festival organizer and founder of "MYL" Mantas Galdikas.
A night that will unite different scenes
At the beginning of the evening – “LOVE” flag bearers: DJ Alwayslate ir In the skyBoth, who have been consistently creating the identity of this community since the first MYL parties, will perform at the festival for the first time as a duo with a B2B set. DJ Alwayslate is famous for his ability to masterfully combine techno with Lithuanian old-school hits, and In the sky The selections intertwine dark rhythms, ghetto tech, and rap elements.
After them, two electronic music veterans will take over the stage – Zilvinas Roads ir Packages, representing Sound InstituteirAudience. After more than 20 years on stage, this duo is considered a living legend of electronic music in Lithuania - their B2B performance promises to be full of mastery and time-tested sound.
A scene where vision and experience meet
Club elastic will be represented by a bright techno duo: Under Black Helmet, titled the ambassador of Lithuanian techno, and Walddagger, known for their impeccable vinyl sets. These two artists will meet on the festival stage for an impressive B2B set just before the main star of the evening.
The highlight of the festival – I HATE MODELS, one of the most interesting and provocative names in contemporary electronic music. His performances are intense emotional experiences, balancing melancholy, aggression and euphoria. During his career, he has played on prestigious stages - from Berghain Iki Awakenings ir Tomorrowland, and his sets amaze every time with their expressiveness and synthesis of genres.
"In a scene full of templates, he is an exception. His music not only transcends boundaries, but also destroys them," the organizers say.
After the climax, another historic meeting
Immediately after the main star's appearance on stage, we will see another unique meeting - Mirror Slave, Onis and Interiors - three key figures from different eras, but equally important to Vilnius, Club hook and Club Elastica names. This trio will officially play together in one set for the first time.
Another surprise of the festival – Gallery 1986 representatives Aistė Regina, Clicklounge and Donatas Chipak. This trio, who have explored the map of both Lithuanian and global clubs in their musical travels – from the legendary "Pudra" parties to the well-known "Gallery" red room, is known for its subtle musical taste, exceptional selection and influence on the capital's nightlife.
