As many as three days of the Vilnius Coffee Festival 2018 will be dedicated to the growing coffee culture, cafe and restaurant professionals and, of course, coffee lovers. Traditionally, three Lithuanian coffee championships - Barista, Latte Art and Cup Tasting - will be held during the festival. Their winners will represent Lithuania at the world championships held this year in Amsterdam, Dubai and Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
At the festival, you will see not only impressive performances by baristas, but also almost all local coffee roasters gathered under the roof of Roasters Village, innovative coffee equipment and the most professional baristas in the official Espresso Bar, the best coffee chefs in the country in a special Brew Bar, plenty of excellent coffee and of closely related experiences at Coffee + Food Market.
Educational meetings and practical workshops, the so-called "workshops", will also take place during the event. During them, our country's coffee professionals and guests from abroad will share their experience, insights and advice on how we can best absorb coffee not only as a favorite drink, a profession that has become a way of life, but also to look at coffee consumption from an environmentally friendly perspective. The electricity needed for the festival will be produced from coffee grounds, thus supporting the "zero waste" initiative.
