On Thursday, the international street arts festival SPOT started for the seventh time, with performances in parks, contemporary dance under the bridge and on balconies, contemporary circus in courtyards and unexpected sculptures on the streets of Vilnius.
The intensive festival program invites Vilnius residents and guests of the city to get acquainted with street art for free even for four days of the festival, during SPOT the works of Spanish, Catalan, French, Dutch, Finnish and Lithuanian creators are presented!
"With this year's SPOT festival program, we invite you to play in the city and with the city, and we assure you once again that the city is a great playground in various senses", - say the festival organizers.

And during the entire festival, you can look for scattered sculptures by the Spanish artist Isaac Cordal on the streets of Vilnius. To find them, you will not only have to take a walk, look up more often or check your attentiveness. Although the sculptures are extremely small in size, they carry serious social messages and invite us to think about our devalued relationship with nature or the side effects of evolution. "Cement Eclipses Project" sculptures have already traveled to many countries around the world, and specially designed ones for Vilnius can be found in Šiltadaržis, Užupis, Vokiečių, Pylimo, Pilies, Bernardinai and other streets.
The festival started with Marija Baranauskaitė's - Liberman's work "Duck Performance", presented for the first time in Lithuania, which invited us to look at the relationship between animals and people with new eyes.
