During the quarantine, receiving more and more artists' works to decorate parcel self-service terminals, the "Nepriklausomi" competition initiated by Lithuanian Post to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Lithuania's independence is being extended. As artists actively submit works, the public is invited to keep up and vote for the works they like the most - voting will take place until April 17. The works of the four creators who received the most votes will decorate the self-service terminals of LP EXPRESS parcels.
"Although the country is in an extreme situation, it is possible to see some positivity in it. We notice that while living in the quarantine regime, artists have become more active, we keep getting new works. Today we have more than 50 amazing creations that breathe freedom. Now is the time for residents to come forward. We really want to encourage voting - while spending days at home, find a minute to cast your vote for the piece you like the most. Perhaps it will decorate one of the parcel self-service terminals in your city and delight the eyes every day", says Vaida Budrienė, Head of the Corporate Affairs Department of Lithuanian Post.

The contest "Nepriklausomi" invites you to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Lithuania's freedom. It is the freedom of Lithuania that artists depict in their works. The exclusive condition of the competition is that only creators born in independent Lithuania participate in it. Creators are invited to send their works until April 10. The works of four authors will not only decorate self-service parcel terminals in Lithuanian cities, but will also receive cash prizes.
The winners of the competition will be selected by 4 independent members of the commission. 3 of them are well-known artists whose works decorated the terminals last year: Algis Krisčiūnas, Jolita Vaitkutė, Artur Shirin. One vote will belong to the organizer's representative. The members of the commission will have one vote each, which they will assign at their discretion to the most liked competition work. A Commissioner's vote will double the number of votes a job receives in the public vote. The results of the voting by the commissioners will be made public.

This is the second Lithuanian Post project with artists whose works decorate LP EXPRESS terminals. Last year, Lithuanian Post tried to draw the public's attention to the topic of environmental protection with works of art on parcel terminals. The project attracted special interest and popularity not only in Lithuania, but also in foreign countries, and the amount of shipments in terminals decorated by artists increased by 28 percent.
