IKEA in Lithuania is starting a home cleaning TV show. The selection of participants who want IKEA designers to come to their homes is already underway. The team of ten lucky interior designers will not only update selected home or business spaces with IKEA furniture and accessories for free, but will also show them how to ensure and maintain order.
"Clutter is one of the biggest sources of stress and discord in the home. IKEA's "Life at Home" study showed that every second Lithuanian is angry at home because of the lack of order. A third disagree about which items should stay at home and which should already free up space, two out of five would like to have more space to store less frequently used items. Thus, the TV show will allow us to show how simple solutions at a low cost can bring the much-desired order into the home," says Eglė Čyvė, head of interior designers at IKEA.
Ten TV shows will be the third cycle of the TV3 show "Home idea with IKEA". In it, designers will not only update and arrange different home or business spaces for free, but will also point out the most common interior mistakes and give advice on how to correct them.
"Lithuanian audience followed the home renovation process shown for two seasons with great interest. The viewers mentioned that the changes in the homes of the participants of the shows inspired them to improve their household, so with the new shows we will aim to provide even more practical information and advice - what are the fundamental mistakes in home furnishing, how to plan your home, how to achieve the best result for the minimum investment", IKEA shared. designer. According to her, TV shows help realize IKEA's vision of creating a more beautiful everyday life for many people.
Not only houses or apartments, but also office, retail, manufacturing or other company owners can apply for free space renovation. When submitting their applications, they will have to indicate which area of the home they most want to renovate: the living room, the bedroom, the kitchen or their business premises. From them, the project commission will select 10 participants, for whom the space of their choice will be renovated, a total of 10 different rooms.
