The last day when the 60-meter-long fountain in Neri operates (photos)

Today is the last chance to try the unique movement-controlled fountain in Vilnius, on the Neris river. The first such fountain in the country is open from Thursday to Saturday. A 60-meter-long fountain has been installed at the Mindaugas bridge - an activation for Lithuania, with which the IT company "Accenture" marks its arrival in the country. The message of this fountain is to show that each of us can make a difference. Next to the fountain, there are also extreme shows of tightrope walkers performed by professionals from Slackline Lietuva - they not only walk across Neris on a stretched rope, but also perform various tricks on it. Such a combined performance of a dynamic fountain and tightrope walkers is the first in Lithuania. You can still see him live today from 12:22 to XNUMX:XNUMX.

The height of the currents of the fountain operating in Neri reaches up to 10 meters. In total, 55 different fountain nozzles are installed in Viso Neri, which spray water upwards, and the fountain itself works together with lights and music. Anyone who wants to can control the fountain by hand movements alone, using the Kinect technology specially adapted for this event. After dark, the fountain will operate every half hour according to the programmed 10 min. program with music and spectacular light effects.

The fountain located in Neri is the activation of the professional business services and consulting company "Accenture", which marks the arrival of a new player in the IT sector in Lithuania. Back in the summer, the company announced its plans to open a branch in Vilnius, and within two years the company plans to hire about 350 employees. According to Maksims Jegorovs, Accenture's manager for the Baltic countries, the fountain that will operate in the capital of Lithuania is the beginning of the company's ambitious goals.

"We often see new players entering the IT market and announcing plans to hire a large number of new employees. In this case, our goal is a little different - to show that we help everyone achieve the desired changes. Both for your customers and future employees. This is what is symbolized by the fountain that will be in operation for three days in Neri, the height and color range of which can be controlled by any passer-by. With this, we want to inform Lithuania that we are starting our activities and development here. In the next two years, we plan to train and hire around 350 employees in Lithuania, and in five years - up to 500", says M. Jegorovs.

In Vilnius, on the Neris river, the fountain will be open for the whole of Saturday - from 12:22 to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., visitors can either control the fountain themselves or watch the performances of professionals walking on a rope across the Neris. During the day, everyone can control the height of the fountain's currents, and after dark - both the height and the color range. The tightrope walkers will perform their main performance before the fountain lights come on.
