On the eve of International Theater Day, the best stage artists of 2022 were awarded at the Lithuanian National Drama Theater.
Congratulating the theater community, Minister of Culture Simonas Kairys said that creating, acting, not giving up is more important today than ever before.
"I wish that all Lithuanian theater stages become a connecting platform. Let it accommodate different generations, different searches and discoveries. After all, the theater is a living organism. There will always be periods of change and transformation here. The most important thing is that even those periods are accompanied by respect, goodwill and a common vision.
