Emilis Vėlyvis, the director of the most watched Lithuanian films, announced that he was creating a sequel to the popular movie trilogy "Zero", but he chose an unusual format for it. Already this October, the festival of film, music and black humor "Zero Live Show" will be presented in the arenas of four Lithuanian cities. The show, for which tickets went on sale today, was created especially for the centenary of the restoration of the Lithuanian state and combines the film frenzy of E. Vėlyvis, the most popular Lithuanian artists, theater and dance scenes created especially for the event, and the darkest humor.
The director does not hide that event not intended for the virtuous, righteous, green and the like. "You will see, with this show we will encourage emigration. Because after him, those who will be ridiculed on stage will want to emigrate. There is something for. And for some, political, social or historical topics touched more sharply will be unbearable", said E. Vëlyvis.
The theme of "Zero Live Show" is dictated by the century of the restoration of Lithuania itself - this show will reveal the everyday life of Lithuania as seen by the director E. Vėlyvis and all citizens of the country. Five vivid moments of Lithuanian history will divide the event into five fragments, each of which will intertwine cinema, theater, music, stand upand choreography scenes.
“No polished action, it will cinema without montage, directly to the audience's eyes, a breath of fresh air for a tired mind, a bright shot of the gray Lithuanian sky and the most erotic Lithuanian national costume. It will be a live benefit of the characters of the Zero trilogy with an unpredictable ending. Makeup will compete with silicone on stage, the laughter of the audience will be replaced by the tears of the authorities. And no stolen tricks, everything is just once in front of your eyes," said its director about the show.
It goes without saying that no production of E. Vëlyvis' "Zero" series can do without his main actors, so they will also be in the "Zero Live Show": Inga Jankauskaitė, Ramūnas Rudokas, Mindaugas Papinigis, Andrius Žiurauskas, Ainis Storpirštis, Aušra Štukytė, Gytis Ivanauskas / Lolita Zero and others.
They are joined by well-known country performers: G&G Sindikatas, BIX, Happyendless, Algirdas Kaušpėdas, Radistai, Viktoras Diawara, Tomas Sinickis, Rondo and others.
"Five shows in one fiesta, five well-known accents, shining on the stage from a completely different angle. In other words, for the audience, it will be a completely new "five in one" format, with well-known heroes who, until recently, were running around Gediminas Avenue in Vilnius and smashing police cars. We plan that the show "Zero Live Show" will last longer than two hours, so the audience will really feel like they are in a movie theater", said producer Daiva Jovaišienė.
October 11 "Zero Live Show" will start in Vilnius "Siemens Arena" on October 19. – Klaipėda In the "Lighthouse Arena", October 26. – in Panevėžys "Cido Arena" and on October 31. Beautiful "Zalgiris Arena". The first tickets to the event cost from 22 euros, later they will be more expensive. Ticket partner of the event is "Tiketa".
Emilis Vėlyvis made four full-length films in Lithuania: "Zero", "Zero II", "Zero 3" and "Redirected / For Lithuania!". All these films in Lithuania received enormous attention from the audience.
