April 29 In the Siemens Arena, Lithuanian rock will be raised in a cube. In the joint concert of the groups "ba.", "Colors of Bubbles" and "Freaks On Floor" "R3The musicians promise to let their hair down together with several thousand of their fans.
"We will take down the roofs. Kubu", the participants of the concert, who intend to submit an application for a new Lithuanian record, are not joking: the guys from all three groups agreed on this concert in just one day.
"We will all sing", promise the members of "Freaks On Floor", holding in one hand the still hot, already third MAMA rock group of the year statuette, in the other - the album "Waves", released at the end of autumn. Until recently, the group melted hearts in an acoustic concert in St. Catherine's Church, but the guys, who did not spare the sharper music whips at the album launch concert a little earlier, are convinced that it will be impossible to sit down in the arena.
"Let's all dance," echo the guys from "Colours of Bubbles", who are dressed in costumes, but who carry rock and roll in their hearts. Šiauliai indie a year ago, the group continuing rock traditions presented one of the strongest albums of last year in Lithuania "She Is The Darkness". In the summer they raged at domestic and foreign festivals, in the autumn they released a vinyl record, and at the moment you can see them... on the stage of the theater. The band performs "Lessons Learned" live and it just shows once again what kind of masters you can become after more than a decade of persistently sharpening electric guitars.
"We will all scream," claims "ba" roadie Benas Aleksandravičius, claiming the title of the most scandalous musician in Lithuania. While the Freaks on Floor co-stars are rejoicing at receiving the Rock Group of the Year award, Ben simply burns the MAMA nomination certificate itself. He is like a breath of fresh air, complimented by Andrius Mamontovas himself. "ba." has been gathering packed halls lately, and hordes of crazy fans are already counting the days until the end of February, when the musician will present the vinyl record "I think out loud" at the Book Fair, which contains six painfully true songs.
"All three of these bands are very creative, unique and have a lot of fire - and that's the answer to why their music appeals to so many people." Their desire to share their work with an arena-sized audience perfectly matched our vision of how the Lithuanian music market should develop. We have no doubt that other bands of the new generation will soon follow in their footsteps," said Juras Vēželis, head of the concert organizer "Seven Live".
Tickets to "R3The boiler has been sold by TIKETA since February 2.
