New winds are blowing in the life of the most famous Ethiopian woman living in Lithuania, Eskedar Tilahun. On this Saturday's TV3 show "Do It Yourself", the famous woman revealed that she is preparing a new cafe-restaurant for opening.
"Dear Audriau, I could really use your help. I hope you have some time for me today. I'm opening a new cafe-restaurant where you can enjoy Ethiopian dishes, and I really want to turn the white walls into a work of art. Therefore, I really need your help," Eskedar presented the task awaiting the host.
Upon entering the premises of Eskedar's new restaurant, A. Bružas began to praise what he saw. "It's so cozy here, it's so good to be here... And when we paint the white walls with exotic patterns together with you... Customers will have to wait for weeks for a free table," says the actor.
While speaking, Eskedar also shared how her journey into entrepreneurship began.
"To be honest, I didn't really have any other options. I came here to study." Vilnius University, and when I finished it, I had to do something. Otherwise, I would have had to leave the country.
Since I didn't know Lithuanian well yet, the only option left for me was to start my own business. At first, I imported various clothes from Italy.
"Children started to be born. First one, then a second, and when a third was born, I realized that, unfortunately, I would no longer travel as much as before. The coffee phase began. Now I have four of my cafes in Vilnius. And in this one, we will also serve dishes typical of Ethiopia to our visitors," Eskedar said during the show.
After a little bit of work, the woman invited the actor to taste dishes based on recipes from Ethiopia.
"These lentil and pork cutlets are indeed a bit spicy. We have a lot of spices in our kitchen. I keep asking my chef to reduce the amount for Lithuanians, because I think there are a little fewer spicy food lovers in Lithuania than in Ethiopia," she will say.
However, the host immediately admitted to her that he really likes spicy food, and the food Eskedar presented tasted more than divine.
