An observation tower with a shape reminiscent of a canoe or a sinking boat has been built in the territory of the Biržai Regional Park near Kirkilai karst lakes. This tower is recognized as the most impressive and beautiful observation tower in Lithuania.
The height of the tower is almost 32 meters. The area of the observation deck at a height of 30 meters is almost 30 square meters. The first floor has 27,75 m2 an amphitheater for gatherings of people, small events or just relaxing.
The purpose of the installation of the observation tower is to create favorable conditions for visitors to get to know one of the main values of the Biržai Regional Park - the relief of the karst falls in the Kirkilai Landscape Reserve. When you climb the observation tower, you can see amazing views - 30 sinkholes full of water, called lakes of the Kirkilas reserve, with a diameter of about 35 m and more. Sometimes, under certain conditions, they turn different colors during the summer.
