Near the village of Stragnai, near Priekulė, there is a field stone masonry chapel-mausoleum surrounded by various legends.
The chapel-mausoleum of the XNUMXth century. was built by Bronackis, who belonged to the Masonic Lodge "Memphis" in Klaipėda.
This chapel tells us that two centuries ago, the Masonic organization had deep roots in the Klaipėda region.
The Masonic brotherhood is shrouded in riddles and legends Klaipėda counts 234 years of existence. However, in the past, the brotherhood united the most famous citizens, these days it is still under the veil of secrecy.

According to people's memories, the chapel was built in memory of the dead wife of Mason Bronacki. It is said that the remains of the wife were buried in the basement of the chapel - a mausoleum, and a small chapel was built on top for worship.
The chapel is of outdoor stone masonry: natural smaller boulders are used inside, larger, broken ones are used outside. The main western facade is built of red bricks and has distinct features of the neo-Gothic style. The gable roof was covered with tiles. A spacious burial cellar was built under the chapel. Unfortunately, the chapel was vandalized in the post-war period: the mausoleum was looted, the remains were desecrated (no burial marks remained), the interior of the chapel was torn apart. Currently, the condition of the chapel-mausoleum is very bad, so this building, included in the Register of Cultural Values in 2006, is to be restored and adapted for cultural purposes.
