Yesterday, a contract for the use of real estate was signed between the Nature Research Center and the Lithuanian National Art Museum in Verkių Palace. Two buildings of the manor complex are available for museum activities - the Eastern Office and the drive-in house (Austria).
From 1978 to 1988, the Lithuanian National Art Museum operated in the halls of the Eastern Office of the Palace of Weeping. Here he exhibited and presented to the public a unique exposition of palace interiors, which was very well attended. Therefore, there can be no doubt that today it will also be popular both for its uniqueness and the very picturesque environment of the buildings of the palace ensemble and the park.
It is also planned to open a unique folk art exposition of the Lithuanian National Art Museum in Verkii, hold exhibitions, and carry out educational activities.
