The company "Owexx", having hung up the awning placed on its advertising stand in Šiauliai with doubts about the benefits of vaccination, started a vaccination promotion campaign in 6 cities of the country. It was previously announced that the value of the campaign will reach 30 thousand. EUR, but now its value has almost doubled - up to 58 thousand. Eur. According to the company, after hanging the tent in Šiauliai, it received pressure.
11 outdoor advertising stands in Vilnius, Beautiful, Klaipėda, in Šiauliai, Mazeikiai and Joniškis, the clips of the "Don't be last" campaign of the company "Owexx" and the Government Chancellery are already being shown. In Vilnius, additional material will be shown, which will be shared by the city municipality.
Clips will be shown by 367 thousand people. together
"Initially, we planned that the value of the campaign would reach about 30 thousand. Eur. That's why we created our clip. However, when the Government Chancellery agreed to share its clip, we decided that it would become an additional and new part of the campaign - so we allocated additional screens and broadcast times, which significantly increased the value of the campaign. We hope that its benefit to society will also increase," says Owexx manager Viktoras Tolvaiša.
Clips inviting people to get vaccinated will be shown on 4 screens in Vilnius, 2 in Kaunas, 2 in Klaipėda, 1 in Šiauliai, 1 in Mažeikia and 1 in Jonišky throughout the month. It is estimated that 367 thousand clips will be shown on these screens. together.
"When creating our clip, we tried to distance ourselves from assessments - we chose to present official statistics that speak for themselves. "We chose the language of facts as a counterweight to the conclusions of the association "Petys zuz laiseve", which were displayed on our advertising stand," says V. Tolvaiša.
According to him, the campaign in Šiauliai will last longer than in other cities of the country. On the outdoor advertising screen, located right next to the stand where one day the flag of the association Patys za lasivė was hung, the clips inviting people to get vaccinated will be shown for at least three months.
Got the pressure
V. Tolvaiša admits that the company also received a reaction from the "Shoulders for Freedom" association. A letter was received a few days ago, which asserts that the hanging of a tent announcing the doubts about the benefits of vaccinations harms the professional reputation and financial and non-financial interests of the association and each of its members. The letter also requires the awning to be returned to the advertising stand the very next day.
According to the manager of Owexx, the company does not intend to return the awning. "His posting was a mistake. And mistakes, unlike vaccinations, should not be repeated," he says.
And although the company received pressure after hanging up the tent - a stream of negative evaluations and false reviews poured in on various company rating platforms - V. Tolvaiša says that she does not regret this decision. Especially since not only negative, but also positive responses were received, and in solving the challenges that arose in this situation, legal assistance to the company "Owexx" will be provided by the professional association of lawyers "Spectrum legis".
