Just 2 years ago, in the building of "Darbo birža" (J. Kubiliaus st. 2, Vilnius), a cozy space dedicated to older residents of the city of Vilnius opened its doors, the "Seniors' Hive" where, until the quarantine that froze everyone's lives, a variety of activities were carried out for seniors spend your free time interestingly, take a break from everyday worries or meet like-minded people for a cup of tea.
During these two years of its existence, the "Seniors' Hive" has not only gathered a wonderful community of seniors who are extremely active, active, always spiritually youthful, not afraid of challenges, non-governmental organizations with excellent lecturers who dedicate their time to diversify the seniors' free time, teach languages, do sports , interested in undiscovered things, indifferent supporters, but also founded a social care department on the second floor of the "Seniors' Hive" building.
From February 15 of this year. "Senioru avilios" care department established by Public Enterprise "Sveikatos metai", which provides long-term/short-term social care services for elderly persons, elderly persons and adults with severe disabilities from all over Lithuania, is already happy and taking care of its first residents.
The care department of the "Seniors' Hive" provides a whole range of services that provide comprehensive assistance to a completely independent person requiring constant specialist care. Here, individuals are provided with accommodation, meals, healthcare and nursing services, organization of free time and employment, social work, communication, development and support of daily life skills, help with getting ready, feeding, washing, etc.
A person can enter the "Seniors' Hive" care department with designated municipal or personal financing.
